A couple of days ago I wrote about the things I care too much about. It’s refreshing to see all of the things you need to let go written down in a list. Therefore, I decided to write down the things I don’t like about myself in hopes that I can one day let those go as well.
- Being introverted
A lot of people just don’t understand the amount of time I need alone. - My roots are too dark for my blonde hair
And literally this is always a problem - My weight
I think I started my first diet in like 7th grade, I’ve always been insecure about it. - Being self conscious without make up
I don’t go anywhere without it - My pessimism
I’m very realistic and this often causes me to be pessimistic - My fear of public speaking
I seriously suck at it - My overthinking
It drives me insane - I get easily frustrated
Why can’t people just stop doing annoying things?

Overthinking? Naah, I never do that much 🙂 I can definitely relate to your list, as it’s entirely realistic. I pretty much feel the same way about myself and what I do.

#6 Absolutely! For any presentation I end up saying the work “like” about a million times! 😂

Omg me too! Even when I’m just nervous talking to someone I do that (which is often)

My first diet was at about that time. I probably weighed about 120 pounds, if that much. I was 5’4″, and I weighed no more than 120. But my mom told me I was fat and put me on a diet. *smh*

Me too! I was a twig, it lasted like a day but from there on I kept trying to diet. I think because I was always told I was going to get fat one day from my family. It’s a shame we’re brought up on that mindset

Perspective! I also believe I am realistic, which is why I am optimistic. So, your pessimism is no more realistic than my optimism. It is all in how you choose to perceive the world around you.

That’s true! It’s funny how differently people can see the world

#7 gets my girlfriend everytime. Sometimes I wish I could help her, but there’s really nothing I can do.

I saw a tweet recently that said: “My girlfriend has major anxiety issues and it really affects her and I see that, daily. So I asked her if there’s anything I can do to help. Her response?
Just let me be crazy and I’ll be fine”
And that’s what I tell my boyfriend too lol nothing can make me stop overthinking, sometimes I just have to go nuts about it to feel better

This interesting. Tbh a little bit weird, but if that’s what is supposed to be done to help, then I shall try.
Thank you.
