The person I am in winter and the person I am in summer are two completely different people. From December to April you can basically guarantee that I am going to be a miserable mush that doesn’t want to do anything but hibernate.
Like actually eat tons of Chipotle to store fat and sleep for months.
I am obsessed with summer and obsessed with the happiness I associate with it. The warmth, sunshine, vacations, and relaxed days bring me to another level. You’ll never hear me complaining about how hot it is because if it’s under 75 degrees out I’m shivering and in pain.
Work is easier during the summer which makes life easier. I can take more days off without worrying, go down to the beach on the weekends, and plan vacations. The sun stays out until 8:30 pm so I can do more after work. Unlike in the winter, when it’s dark before I even get home and I immediately crawl into bed.
Summer came at just the right time for me because winter and spring (was there even a spring? It just felt like an extended winter to me) really put me down and that impacts every part of me. I was getting concerned that I was just permanently a sad person. But now that warmer weather and summer is here, I can feel it all changing for the better again.
What season is your favorite?

Summer is disgustingly humid where I live. It’s almost like walking through soup. But I love the fall here. The weather stays warm usually though October and there’s still a lot of sunlight left until Daylight Savings

I love the fall. Things start anew in the fall (at least for academics like me).
