The Hookup On: VII Code Eye Masks

It was about two months ago when I woke up one morning, looked in the mirror, and realized I looked like I hadn’t slept in two months. Maybe I haven’t, but I didn’t know the toll it was taking on the bags under my eyes! I look sleepy, I have purple pockets under my eyes, and I just look worn down!

I think you reach a certain point where the fear of aging really starts to strike. I’m still young, but I’ve definitely noticed that I don’t look like my 21 year old springy self anymore.

I’ve started battling the effects of aging and one thing I tried was VIIcode O2M eye masks! I wear them for 8 hours while I sleep every 2-3 days, which is so different from other sheet masks. They are an oxygenating mask that are meant to revive the bags under your eyes over night! I find this so convenient because I now wake up in the morning looking fresh and ready for the day. It really takes some time off of getting ready because I don’t have to conceal my under-eye bags anymore.

The gel-like material is the real feature of the mask, they are like little patches with a cool gel that conforms to the shape of your eye. They are so comfortable to sleep in and the cooling membrane is such a nice feeling after a long day of staring at the computer for work. It is even recommended to keep them in the refrigerator, they are so cool and soothing to put on before bed!

If you’re a tosser and turner, you can even wear them during the day when you’re watching tv or lounging about. I did this a few times because I roll around a lot when I sleep!

I’m sharing my results below because I’m so impressed! I started with deep purple under eye bags and ended with my 21 year old springy eyes again!

  1. I actually didn’t notice underneath my eyes changing much until a year ago and especially this year! I’m turning 33 in July. I tried these great ones from Boascia three times before a special event last month, They worked well and there were 3 in pack for $20.00, plus I had Sephora Rouge 15 percent off. So, a good splurge for a couple packs their next sale!

I’m told Lise Watier has some good ones ($40.00) but for me, these Boascia ones were great. It’s an Asian beauty brand and I’ve always loved their samples of cream etc. I got these new ones at the drugstore today, $6.00 per under eye mask and also another Asian (K-beauty) brand. I’ll let you know how they are 🙂

      1. Yes! One day you’e fine and the next . . . I did use one set last night and I do notice the difference today. Yesterday was a long day and relaxing to try them out. The brand is Oh K (from Korea) and they’re called Awakenig Ginseng and Eucalptus Under Eye Mask. You’re supposed to leave them on 20 to 30 Minutes. I probably had mine on longer but there is a noticable difference today and that’s always good. These were $6.00 CAN a piece, so cheaper than the Boascia ones from Sephora at $20/3 sets of masks. Both seem to work well though. The Boascia ones you didn’t have to leave on as long, but I think I left them on for 20 to 30 Minutes anyways. I do like the Eucalyptus scent in these Oh K ones. I will have to try yours too sometime 🙂
        Cheers

      2. I’ve tried a few different ones. I have a friend who taught school in Hongkong and is obsessed. Some K products are great, some not so much lol. The price is usually good though 🙂 The weirdest one was a sheet mask she gave me made from snails or their slime. I had to work up to to using it, but it was so moisturizing and my skin felt baby soft the next morning. Lol. 🙂

  2. Lol, you know it’s funny, I was actually thinking about how I wasn’t sure it was worse investing in any skin care product for undernea my eyes since everybody told me they didn’t work! I was thinking about that THIS morning! 😅😊 I am happy I found your blog!
Now I need to find the “follow” button!
