Summer has always been my favorite – even though I’m still waiting for summer weather to come. Feels like we’re always back and forth between spring and sort of summer. I want it to be hot – yupp I’d 1000% rather be hot than cold. Here are all the things I’d like to do this summer and I’m actually looking forward to pushing myself to get them done!
- Go to Thailand!
- Learn how to play the guitar
- Read 10 books
- Have a picnic
- Visit Rhode Island
- Go to a concert
- Make a local friend
- Go to the gym 3 times a week
- Visit home
- Reach 3,500 WordPress followers
- Take a walk once a week with boyfriend
- Have an intentional date night at least once a month
- Go hiking 3 different times
- Go to a sporting event
- Visit a sunflower field
- Keep up on laundry!!
- Visit a New Hampshire beach
- Find ways to manage stress
- Clean out my closet and donate old clothes
- Visit Martha’s Vineyard
- Check out a local winery
- Try a new recipe
What are you looking forward to this summer?
If you visit Rhode Island be sure to visit the town of Westerly. Both the downtown section, and Watch Hill. And if you stop in at the Haversham Tavern ask for Shane and tell him Matt said Hi. You won’t disappointed.

I agree on the weather. I love the heat. Being cold just makes me grumpy! I want to laugh and smile all year, so much more than I have ever laughed and smiled in my life! 🙂 Jen

Ooh Thailand is high up on my bucket list. It’s actually one of the places my fiance and I have considered for our honeymoon. Do you already have a trip planned?
I’m most excited for my trip to Ireland in early July. My sisters and I are taking my dad for his 60th birthday. He’s never been out of the country so he’s really excited.

I want to go to Thailand too! All the pictures I’ve seen are beautiful! My husband and I considered going there on our honeymoon, but ended up going on a cruise through Italy and Greece instead. I still want to visit Thailand one day!
You’re soooo close to 3,500 subscribers! Only 60 more! You’re definitely gonna reach that goal by the end of the summer.

I think “keeping up with laundry” would be the hardest for me cross off. 🤣 Hope you accomplish all this & more over the summer, Rosie! ♡
