August Recap

I really like fall, I’m obsessed with all things spooky. But I’m trying really hard not to be that person so I can soak up the rest of summer – because I love summer and I feel like it was so short this year! I think this just comes with being an adult. I don’t have summer hours at work so it just feels like the rest of the year. I got a lot done in August, here’s a quick recap!

Favorite show: Euphoria

Favorite memory: My doggo is finally off an exercise restriction after MONTHS – so my favorite memories from August are all surrounding finally getting outside to play with her.

Favorite place: Boston

Favorite meal: I tried the Impossible Whopper at Burger King and it was awesome – so happy to have a vegetarian fast food option besides Taco Bell!

Favorite Instagram: Look at all the sunflower fields we’ve been to!

Favorite Tweet: I have a book hangover from reading Order of the Phoenix

One thing I did to get out of my comfort zone: I feel like I have been much more outgoing this summer and it feels good, I always convince myself that being around people is exhausting. But sometimes, it’s helpful.

Favorite book: Yes, I finally finished Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix!!

Favorite blog post: Adulthood Burnout. Relatable.

Favorite collaboration: I had another VitaCup coffee campaign and really loved it, the Genius Blend has a cinnamon taste which is so yum!

Tell me one of your favorite things about August in the comments!

  1. I am trying to not constantly wait for fall even though I love it so much. My sister and my nephews came to visit last weekend and we went to this really famous waterfall nearby. That was awesome and something that I won’t be able to do once the weather gets cooler.
