One of my favorite things about September is that, here, it still feels like summer. And the end of September and beginning of October is Summer Junior, still warm enough to do stuff outside but not as blisteringly hot as July and August. And at my current job I always have time off approximately corresponding to the first half of October, so basically time off in perfect weather. So I’m looking forward to that (Friday is my last day, then two weeks off)… although that is followed by the sense of foreboding that winter is coming.
