If we were having coffee this month I’d tell you that I went to Italy for a week! I get a lot of travel anxiety pre-trip, so much so that I don’t even want to go anymore lol but it was a great trip and everyone in Italy was so lovely.
It’s even better to come home and then snuggle up in bed with my dogs who I missed so much! But I’ve definitely been bitten by the travel bug again, kind of feeling like where I currently live and spend my time isn’t where I truly belong.
Luckily we have plenty of trips planned for the year to scratch the itch!
If we were having coffee I’d say February went by incredibly fast, which I should’ve expected since it’s a short month anyway. And I feel like every time I write these recaps the month seemed to fly by. But someone should let future me know that this time of year is super busy at work, so many next year I won’t be so surprised by it.
I had been in a bit of a slump the past couple of months because 1. Winter and 2. No snow and 3. Life is just kinda hard sometimes! Happy to report that I’m doing much better after a perspective shift where I sat myself down and gave myself a pep talk.
What’s one fun thing from your February?
February really wasn’t all that fun for me, except for my friend’s birthday party. That was good.

The hubs and I made it to the area’s ski mountain for a day of skiing/snowboarding. It was on a Saturday and the snow was man-made; all things not-so ideal, but we had a fun time. Happy we were able to hit the slopes at least once this year.

The lack of cold has really put a damper on winter activities!

Celebrated my mother’s birthday and cut back on my dog sitting business so I can focus more on my writing career.
