All About Me

Just another 20-something lifestyle blog. Complaining about trips, travel, sloths, sarcasm, donuts, and dudes.

I’m Rosie! I received my Bachelor’s degree from Rowan University in Advertising while minoring in Journalism, and concentrating in New Media – this is where my blog was born.

I’m a total social media geek, I have been since the days of Myspace where I unsuccessfully attempted to be a scene queen. I had 4,000 friends and learned some html along the way – my love for social media and the embarrassment of my Myspace photos has never gone away.

I am currently the Communications Specialist at a non-profit because apparently you can’t make a career out of complaining about your life and tagging people in pictures of sloths?

The purpose of my blog is to welcome people into my imperfect life and inspire them to embrace their own imperfection. Welcome to my culture.

Want to collab? Here’s my media kit.

  1. Hi! I’m Amanda, and you just followed my blog so I decided to check out yours and follow you back! I’m still in college, and a lot of the things that you write about apply to me. I like that you post things that are personal, but relatable. Have a great day! xx

    1. I don’t think it’s ironic, I believe we live in a “hookup culture” I just don’t think it’s a negative thing! I often write about relationship problems and the things millennials face in life and the dating world 🙂

  2. Nice of you to drop by my site the other day and I hope you found a photo or two to your liking. Now that I’ve located you here, and read a little of your history, I’m sure I’ll be back, and I would even follow you if as a young person into media you could place a follow button somewhere where I might see it, or if I, as a much older person, could just see it in the obvious place that it is probably sitting. Lol. Oh well, I’m sure I’ll find it someday, and in the meantime, may this holiday season be everything you hoped it would be. Peace and love and all that good stuff to you and yours from me and mine over here at Vancouver Visions.

      1. I think the actual problem lies in my habit of discovering people through G-mail rather than using the Reader like most folks. It’s an old habit that I find quite difficult to change since it lets me discover new sites even while I’m answering my mail.

  3. Thank you so much for your beautiful writing, Rosie. It’s so important to be honest and share your feelings, and I know you’re helping tons of people through many issues when you do so. I can’t wait to read more of your lovely work!
Btw, I’m so impressed you like social media. I know it’s important for branding, but for the life of me, I can’t stand it, or have the patience for it. I also love that you volunteer at animal shelters- I love all little critters!
Also wanted to stop by and say thanks for following my blog! I’m so happy you enjoyed it.

    1. Thank you so much for reading 🙂 I definitely have a love/hate relationship with social media but I like being able to share a part of myself with the world. Thanks for stopping by and commenting, can’t wait to see more of your posts :)!

  4. Happy Valentine’s Day from your Polar Opposite. You’re a social media guru from what I see here, and while I’m working on writing a novel, I’ve updated my Blog once in the last two weeks, and worked on answering mail twice, maybe three times. Oh well, it seems to work for both of us, so why complain? I hope you have a great week-end, and an amazing Valentine’s Day. Thanks for dropping by my site, we’ll see you again, either here or there, or maybe both.

  5. Hi! Rosie, I’m Charlie Zero the Poet. Thank you for following me back. I followed your page because you seem like a cool person to talk to. And I shall be reading your blogs soon.

You can read my poetry blogs if you are interested in poetry. There’s weird, dark humor, satirical, and out of this world.

    🙂
