I’m so excited to announce that after many months of being on my list of goals, I finally reached 2,000 followers here on WordPress!

I don’t think I thank this community enough for being such an amazing platform  that offers me different points of view, advice, and even agrees with me when I’m not sure if what I’m saying is agreeable. Thank you all so much.

To all my new and old followers, I’d love to do a little Q&A for you to get to know me better. You can always check out my about me or this old Q&A I did a while ago. But I want to give everyone the opportunity to ask any questions that might pop up when they’re reading my blog.

Please drop a question below and I will write a post in the next week with all of my answers ☺️

The Hookup On: Rosegal

I ordered a bunch of new clothes from my fall wishlist and just received the package! Fall clothes are my favorite because they are so cozy, cute, and I can put an edgy spin on anything I wear. It’s safe to say I feel the most confident in my fall wardrobe. Now all I need is for fall to actually make an appearance because it’s been 90 degrees here – it feels like the peak of summer!

I ordered a couple of things from Rosegal for this season and I am obsessed!! The price just can’t be beat and I got my package in two weeks. It was worth the wait. I bought a bomber jacket, sweater dress, knee high socks, and a set of rings.

Cute jackets are a fall necessity because as the weather cools down, you don’t want to have to cover your outfits with bulky and boring jackets. That’s why I’m so excited about the bomber jacket – even the sweater dress will come in handy because it has long sleeves and will still keep me warm!

I’ve been eyeing ring sets for a while now, but haven’t purchased any. I love the ones I got from Rosegal! They are so cute and edgy and great quality. Everything I received really blew me away in quality for the price I paid. All this for under $40! It’s a steal.

I can’t wait to pair what I’ve bought with my very large collection of beanies and flannels. What are your fall fashion staple items?

The Hookup On: My Fall Bucket List!

Fall is hereeeee! And as much as I love summer, I have a special place in my heart for fall. I love Tim Burton movies and Halloween and flannels and beanies. There is just something so cozy about fall. Here is my plan for the next couple of months, I’m not going to stress too hard about it, but most of my seasonal bucket lists have had 3-4 unchecked items and I’m looking to change that. The Hookup On: Preply

Now that I have been traveling more often, I think it’s time that I learn a language other than English. I took one Spanish class for a year once and one French class for a year once and did pretty poorly in each.  I took Italian for three years in high school and was pretty bad at that too. Learning a language really isn’t my thing, but I’m giving it a shot!

Preply.com is an online language-learning service that allows users to connect with tutors from all around the world. You can meet with this tutor via Skype and the lessons are very affordable.

I did my first lesson last night to learn Spanish. I met with my tutor on Skype and we had a one hour session. We did an audio call and she shared a presentation with me and we went over the basics of Spanish such as greetings and the alphabet.

My tutor lives in Venezuela and was very friendly, easy to understand, and relatable. I loved the lessons she laid out for me and feel as though I learned a lot in my first hour! It was so easy to find a tutor and get the session going. I’m looking forward to the rest of my Spanish lessons!

The Hookup On: Completed Summer Bucket List

I know everyone believes that summer ends after Labor Day, but I stick to the calendar and let summer go a few weeks into September. Because summer is so different when you’re out of school and working, it took me a while to adjust to that summer, care-free feeling. Mostly because I still have a lot of cares, like a lot of them. Fortunately, the end of my summer perked up a lot and I had a great couple of months. I made big plans this summer and finished most of them! Comment below with one thing you did this summer! 🙂

  1. Go Blonder
  2. Read 10 books
  3. Go to the gym frequently
  4. Visit 3 out of state locations
  5. Go hiking in 3 places
  6. Go kayaking
  7. Start taking more pride in my appearance
  8. Make more plans with friends
  9. Make content calendar for instagram
  10. Reach 2,000 WordPress followers
  11. Reach 7,000 Instagram followers
  12. Reach 550 likes on Facebook
  13. Find my independence
